Category Coupe Mileage 209000 Posted Over 1 Month Life priorities have a way of changing while in the middle of building a car. That's what happened to me, so I'm selling my 95 240sx with some of the parts I was planning to install at some point.
It is the buyers responsibility to arrange transportation. Now, onto the details of the car.
Basically everything mechanical has been taken care of except for swapping an engine (still rocking the stock ka24). The shell of the car has lived in VA and NC for its first 5 owners so there is no rust/rot from salted roads. There is surface rust in a few places and having had this car just about all the way apart and back together again it is a really solid shell for someone to start with.
The car runs and drives, has a fresh alignment and passed the sniff test emissions for pre OBDII cars when I lived in VA with flying colors. Currently 209k on the odometer. Category Coupe Mileage 70000 Posted Over 1 Month This car is really clean and in excellent condition. Conversion done by Drift Office in Auburn Washington. The body is immaculate, no bondo and never been in any accidents.
Engine has 70k original miles and was taken apart and basically rebuilt by Drift Office, it is like new and in perfect mechanical condition. It is all stock with only bolt on parts. Here are a few add ons: Vi-Pec Ecu, Tanabe Medallion Concept G full exhaust, HKS blowoff valve, Megan Racing coil overs, battery professionally relocated to back, metal head gasket - will never blow. Interior: mostly brand new OEM trim pieces, newly reupholstered back seats, new front seats, new carpet, dyno mat, front dash is perfect, custom digital climate control, nrg hub release and lock, brand new rockford fosgate door and rear speakers, etc. Included with car: headliner, brand new interior oem door handles, inside door panels- excellent condition with plain grey inserts, white face Stack oil pressure and boost gauge, couple more things. Tuned for daily driving, just under 300 hp. I have the dyno chart if you want to see it.
This car has been driven less than 500 miles since build and that number is being generous, the car has barely been driven. A lot of money has been dumped into this car, it has been babied and has never been raced or driven hard. Category Coupe Mileage 126000 Posted Over 1 Month I am selling my 1996 Nissan 240SX.
I have owned this car for 5 years and it has been my daily driver. I bought it while I was living in Fort Lauderdale, FL and now I live closer to home in Pittsburgh, PA.
The VIN listed is not the correct number because the car has a rebuilt title from Florida. The correct VIN is MA29281 and eBay would not accept this. This is how Florida lists their rebuilt VINs and I had no problem in either state getting it registered, inspected and insured. I bought a truck about a year ago and have been driving that as my daily driver instead.
I was planning on keeping this car to build up, but found a nice RX7 instead. Since I'm not driving it, both the emissions and inspection expired June 2014. I have not tried to get the car inspected or test emissions since I had no need to drive it. As I said before, the car runs great and is very clean. It is almost all stock because it was my daily and the owner before me touched nothing except maintenance parts. The only major issue on the car is rust on the underside. It doesn't look any worse than it did when I bought it, but it is still there and needs to be addressed.
I took pictures from underneath the car so the areas can be seen. It passed PA inspection in June 2013, expiring 2014 so I assume it can't be that bad.
Once again, I do not drive the car anymore so there was no need for me to inspect it and have it looked at or repaired. Category Coupe Mileage 150000 Posted Over 1 Month Need to sell my 1990 240SX S13. She has been my project car for the past 5 years but I have to move across the country and can't bring her.
Perfect car for someone who likes to mess around with cars, and has most of the basic (and a lot of the not so basic) upgrades done. If you want to take it on the track, throw on some coilovers and have at it. For someone wanting more power, all you need is to put in some bigger injectors (though i doubt you’d need to). She pulls like you wouldn’t believe once the turbo kicks in, around 3500 RPM. Asking for $8000 OBO, these parts alone would cost you over 15k.
All engine work done by Nick at 5523 Motorsports. Category Coupe Mileage 140000 Posted Over 1 Month ABSOLUTELY NO TRADES. Local car.1995 Nissan 240SX SR20DETThe car has a ton of mods.
ITS BEING SOLD LESS THAN THE PART OUT PRICE OF THE PARTS ALONE because I don't want to part it out. Set up for amateur drifting, track, and is fully streetable. The problem: One of the valves is leaking so the head will have to be rebuilt.
DRZ Auto in Winter Garden diagnosed it and can tell you more. The bottom end appears fine and compression is fine. Car runs and drives but poorly due to leaking valve.
Machine shop charges about $300 to do the work if you can pull the head and all. Turnkey job is $1800 with ARP head gasket, ARP bolts, valve job, new valves and guides. Basically fully rebuilt head.
I'm ready to move on so this car is a bargain if you're a gear head. Front and rear bumpers were removed to fit on my tow dolly but they are fine, undamaged, not broken, and included with the sale. The good: Engine has good compression, never had any issues with it burning oil or smoking. Transmission is strong. No grinding, synchros are good, clutch. Category Coupe Mileage 110435 Posted Over 1 Month READ DESCRIPTION CAREFULLY BEFORE CONTACTING ME.
This vehicle is in excellent condition inside and out and has been tastefully modded with brand name aftermarket parts and BRAND NEW NOS OEM NISSAN PARTS (NOS = New Old Stock). I feel as if my asking price is more than fair considering there are two other 240sx Convertible's for sale, one is $6K and doesn't run and the other one is around the same and they are nowhere near as clean as my car. They also happen to both be automatic while mine is manual.
LIST OF PARTS Clean title. Clean CarFax. Has a little over 110K miles. This is the last year the convertible model was made making it slightly more rare than the previous years. Paint still shines after a car wash. New parts have less than 200 miles on them.Previous Build Thread; The pictures are down, but you can get an idea of what went on with the car. Category Coupe Mileage 161310 Posted Over 1 Month Thanks for viewing! I am selling my longterm off and on project 240sx.
I rarely drive the car. I have many other projects that I am tied up in, and this car has spent the last several years just sitting at my mom's house. I purchased it in original condition from a girl in college, but with the original engine knocking. I eventually settled on a sr20 swap. The chassis has 161310 miles on it, I estimate the engine has about 70k on it.
The engine has been upgraded with a s15 t28 turbo with a billet cartridge(less than 2000 miles on it) The stage 3 performance clutch has about 5500 miles on it. I am only running wastegate pressure at 7 psi, so I have not been beating up on the car. I have done many modifications over the years. The car was repainted in May of 2014. The front end was swapped to OEM Nissan Silvia front end parts. Although the paint shop messed up the factory spoiler, I do still have it. The car has 17 inch 5zigen fn0r1c wheels with 225/35zr17 toyo proxes t1r tires(about 2000 miles on the rubber) I have upgraded the suspension to Stance coilovers, SPL arms in the rear and z32 brakes all around.
The master cylinder is from a wd21 pathfinder, and the hardlines on the firewall have been deleted. The rear diff was swapped in favor of a vlsd rear diff. I have just installed a new OEM Nissan knock sensor, along with stainless steel steering rack lines, and urethane rack bushings. I also just did a coolant flush, LOF, and spark plugs. Brake fluid was flushed about 14 months ago. I have a stainless steel power steering pressure line, but it has not been installed since the factory hose is not leaking.
In its current condtion, it is a very reliable and fun street car. I do not drift at all, and the car has never been drifted. Up until Christmas, I may have driven the car 100 miles a month, if that. I only started regularly driving the car recently, so she would not be sitting up so much. The main issues with the car is the gauge cluster.
At night, with the lights on, sometimes the cluster will not light up. The digital speedometer goes in and out a bit too, but its a very common problem on the digital cluster optioned models. There are writeups on the net for fixing the issue. The windshield is cracked, and the weather stripping on the front and rear glass will need to be replaced. The interior is all there, although the dash is cracked (very common on 240sx ) There is a Defi boost gauge, and a period correct GReddy timer inside. The Kenwood deck works great, and the factory speakers have been replaced as well.
AC works, but will need a vacuum and recharge. I had to replace a hose that had burned through, and have not had time to recharge. It was working prior though. The rear defrost works, as does the sunroof and power windows. In the pictures, you can see a small dent on the driver side fender where I left my other car in neutral, and it rolled about 10 feet and tapped the fender. It did not take paint, just put a small dent. I can push it out by hand so, it's not too serious.
Overall, this is a very mature 240 with a decent amount of work done to it. It runs and drives great with no noises or anything. The exhaust is very quiet and not intrusive at all. It needs just a little bit of polishing to make this a very nice example. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions. I am somewhat flexible on price, and will consider reasonable offers.

Category Coupe Mileage Unknown Posted Over 1 Month 1991 Nissan 240SX Coupe Project Opportunity! Here’s your chance to score the perfect foundation for a LS swap into a 91 240SX Coupe. A lot has already been done to prepare the chassis and suspension to safely handle the higher horsepower and torque with a more powerful engine. The car was originally built as a 4 cylinder/5-speed manual transmission that was later converted to an SR20 motor, which I’ve already sold. Basically, the entire suspension has been completely disassembled, bead-blasted and either primed/painted (rear), or powder coated (front). Every bushing in the suspension was replaced with Energy Suspension polyurethane, front the “Master” kit.
By the way, if you’ve never installed these it’s a BIG, messy job to burn and gouge out the old bushings, and then press the new ones it. As you can see from the photos, I’ve removed the engine/transmission (sold already) so that the engine compartment can be detailed and repainted. In the process, I sold the front clip and all the old 4-lug suspension. Here’s the work I’ve already done and noted parts included: Removed and disassembled the front subframe, all components black powder coated – including the transmission cross-member. Installed polyurethane bushings from Energy Suspension. Installed new ball joints on all corners. New inner and outer tie rods.
New sway bar end links. Modified the front spindles (trimmed dust shields) to accept the larger diameter 300ZX brake rotors. Cleaned/Detailed front steering rack and installed new dust boots. Reconditioned 300ZX front brake calipers with new seals, primed and painted. Removed and disassembled the rear subframe, all components bead-blasted, primed and painted chassis black (not powder coated like the front). Installed polyurethane bushings from Energy Suspension.
Installed SPL solid billet aluminum differential to subframe bushings to properly secure the Infiniti J30 Limited Slip Differential. Installed correct, factory e-brake cables to properly and safely operate the e-brake. Installed 5-lug bearing hubs along with the 300ZX brakes.
Reconditioned 300ZX rear brake calipers with new seals, primed and painted. Koyo Racing Radiator (all aluminum) with Samco radiator hoses & dual electric fans. Walbro 255 fuel pump Megan Racing tension rods. Infiniti J30 Limited Slip Differential with 3.916 to 1 gear ratio (47:12) The correct Nissan master brake cylinder matched to the 300ZX brakes (new).
Braided stainless brake hoses for all four corners. 350Z Alloy Wheels – set of 4, tires will need replacing. Note – I also have the correct 5-lug spare tire. I also have 3 tubs of miscellaneous pieces and parts that may or may not be needed for an LS swap, such as the charcoal canister, A/C parts and cruise control module. When I bought the car, it had an SR20 motor and 5-speed. There’s a turbo boost controller among the miscellaneous parts. What the project needs: Finish detailing and painting engine bay (this is where I left off) Install motor/transmission, wiring, plumb fuel system.
Build or buy matching driveshaft Install brake master cylinder, bleed the system. Install front clip (must acquire separately) Mount new or used tires. Paint and finish as desired. Note: The interior is in relatively good condition. The dash has the heads-up display and is not the original dash, but a very good one.
Lastly, I have a clean, lien-free Florida Title that’s issued in my name. For an additional fee, I would entertain delivery of the vehicle depending on the distance from Pensacola, Florida. However, I would require full payment in advance. I have owned this car for the last 4 years, and have completely rebuilt it from the ground up.
It is hard to find a good condition 240sx, let alone one that has this much work done. This car has been to multiple car shows, and all of the Texas Hot Import Nights shows. It always gets great attention anywhere it goes. I bought the car is extremely clean condition from the previous owner, and used it as a daily for the first year I owned it. I then bought a JDM engine form JDM engine corp in Richardson, TX.
The car was fully built by German at GS Motorsports in Irving, TX. The S13 Redtop engine was installed and the car was converted to Manual transmission. I have full HD pics of the build and the car before it was modified. I have well over $25k invested into this project, the car is driven to shows and sometimes on the weekend. I am starting a new project and no longer have space for this car in my garage. Below is a list of mods on the car, and I'm sure I am forgetting a lot of the smaller stuff.
Please message me if you have any questions.

Damn track rules makin me spend money just to spend money to race lmao I don't think that's safe brah.
You also have to have the harness's at the proper angle. Or it will hurt yo a. Haha wow thanks for unburying this. I orginally posted this because I wanted to make my 91 240sx safer due to their being no air bags and s.ty electric seat belts.
I am 6' 2' so there is no way I am using harnesses without a rollbar or cage (too worried about possible spinal compression from poor angles and the threat of having my neck snapped from not being able to move out of the way from a collapsing roof) Then I realized that my car would probably never roll and ended up never getting a rollbar or putting in my harnesses. I have no clue why I ever even considered a harness bar. Fortunately with age I have grown out of the stage where cheaper means better.
